ARLINGTON, Va. (WTVR) -- - Investigators busted a wild house party over the weekend that some say was like a scene out of a movie.

Arlington County police arrested 43 high school students for underage drinking over the weekend. The ages of those arrested, range from 15 to 18.

Police were called to a home on Nottingham Street after reports of loud noises. Officers said that when they arrived, teens began running away and that some even jumped over  fences. It was such a massive crowd, cops had to call in back up.

The homeowners are not facing charges since they were not in the house at the time of the party.

Arlington Schools Superintendent Patrick Murphy said in a statement that the school system is disheartened by the events.
