AMELIA COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- Investigators are trying to figure out if any crimes were committed at a private lingerie party held at the Amelia County Veterans Center.

The Amelia County Sheriff's Office is investigating after three videos were posted to social media sites like Facebook and YouTube that show young people dancing in a sometimes sexually suggestive manner.

Amelia Sheriff Ricky Walker and Commonwealth's Attorney Lee Harrison said they first learned of the videos Monday. Investigators are working to identify the people in the videos and determine if any laws were broken.

Chuck Parker, who leased out the veterans center, said he was told the renters were only throwing a birthday party -- and there was only one way to describe what he felt when he heard what may have happened.

"Disgusted. Dismayed," said Parker. "I can't even describe it. I truly can't. For this facility to have been, in my mind, that degraded this facility."

Sheriff Walker also pointed out that the lingerie party was not associated with the Amelia High School prom or the after prom festivities.

Investigators have asked anyone at the party to call the Sheriff's Office with information about what happened at the party. The videos are no longer available on Facebook and YouTube.
