GREAT FALLS, Mont. (WTVR) – Jury selection is underway in the trial of Laurence Stewart. Stewart, who is from Stafford, is charged with seven counts of attempted deliberate homicide in Montana where he police said he threw pipe bombs at officers.

Stewart was on the run after he was accused, in Virginia, of throwing pipe bombs into three homes in Stafford and Fredericksburg.

In court Monday, jurors learned of Stewart’s not guilty plea, reported Great Falls Tribune staff writer Michael Beall.
