RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - VCU men's basketball coach Shaka Smart went one on one with University of Richmond coach Chris Mooney last night at Benedictine High. They were not shooting hoops, they were cooking -- for a good cause.

The coaches took part in the cook-off Thursday to benefit Richmond's Positive Vibe Cafe. The cafe is a non-profit restaurant that trains and employs adults with disabilities.

"It's really something that's not just touching, but it's been so successful that it really makes you grateful that we have such people that can put these kinds of things into place," Coach Mooney said.

"Positive Vibe does a terrific job in our community creating jobs and supporting the community, so for us to be here, Coach Mooney and I, to get a chance to cook a little bit, to do it for a terrific cause, it's a good thing," Coach Smart said.

With the help of executive chefs, the two coaches created an appetizer and a main dish which they presented to the judges.

By the way, UR coach Chris Mooney won best chef of the night.
