RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): A visit to the Greater Richmond Convention Center Saturday, April 27th will take you to some of the Islands of the Philippines for the first Filipino Fiesta RVA.

Organizers want to provide “Education through Culture” in a fun, relaxing atmosphere where people can learn and enjoy all the different facets that make up Filipino Culture. The Fiesta is from 11am to 9pm, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Filipino food will be served until 7pm, there will be cultural booths, a children’s zone, traditional music and dance and clothing, jewelry and some surprises.

Food will cost a minimum amount but the event is free and open to the public. For more information visit filipinofiestarva.org.
