CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Officials in Chesterfield County say the issue with the county’s 911 system has been fixed.
Dave Goode, the county’s public affairs officer, said in a news release Tuesday evening that the 911 system was experiencing intermittent problems.
As a result, callers who dialed 911 may have gotten busy signals — or may not have been able to get through at all.
Service was restored around 8 p.m.
