RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - After two high-profile robberies at the Stony Point Fashion Park, police say they're patrolling there more frequently and they hope to work with the public to deter future crime from happening.

Richmond police met with merchants at Stony Point to talk about what they can do to prevent robberies.

Captain John Hall spoke to CBS 6 today and says the meeting was about engaging in a partnership between Richmond Police and local businesses.

Crime prevention is everybody's business, Hall says, and police have tips and advice for businesses and shoppers.
