RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A YouTube video shot in a Henrico parking lot is currently going viral — ascending to the top of Reddit.com.
The video, titled Kung FU Grandpa in the Food Lion parking lot!, shows a man practicing with nun chucks in the grocery store parking lot. The man who shot the video, Rev. Aamon Miller, provides the commentary.
Miller, 40, told me during a phone interview that he shops at the Food Lion near Brook and Parham Roads all the time and had never seen this man before.
“This can’t be real,” Miller said he thought when he saw the man doing his thing.
Miller, who said he was a pastor at Swansboro Baptist Church, said he does not make it a habit to record people and share the videos online, but he said this one was just too funny to keep to himself.
“I don’t trust people who don’t laugh,” Miller said.
Miller said he first posted the video on Facebook and then to YouTube after a friend told him she could not access the clip.
Within a few hours of the YouTube posting, Miller said he was contacted by ad agencies asking to add preroll advertising to his video.
The video is currently on the front page of Reddit, a social media site that calls itself the front page of the internet and is known for spreading viral pictures and videos.
