RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - The mission of the local chapter of SCAN or Stop Child Abuse Now is to prevent abuse and neglect of children here in the Greater Richmond area by strengthening families and promoting positive parenting. Their 5th annual, ‘Race to Protect Children’ is next Saturday, April 6 at West Broad Village in Short Pump.
