GLEN ALLEN, Va. (WTVR) - A power truck crashed into a power pole and knocked out electricity to parts of Glen Allen, according to Henrico Police. The crash closed a portion of Mountain Road near Francis Road.
As of 5:40 a.m. Monday morning Dominion Virgina Power reported nearly 3,000 customers without power. The vast majority of outages are located in the Shenandoah Valley/Western Piedmont region. Dominion reported several hundred outages in the Richmond Metro/Tri-Cities region.

The Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) said crews are working to restore power to more than 4,000 customers who lost power in Sunday's snow storm. REC said most of the outages were in Orange, Madison, Warren, Albemarle, Fauquier, Spotsylvania and Greene counties.
