CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) - A local nurse staffing service is out of business, and that means many of the people who worked there are out of a paycheck too, at least for now.
A CBS 6 viewer contacted our newsroom in an effort to get answers when his check had not shown up for three weeks.
CBS 6 confirmed through the receptionist at Pro Nurses staffing services located at the Arboretum in Chesterfield that it went out of business seven to 10 days ago.
The owner of Pro Nurses instructed her to tell people a legal team is handling paychecks and hopes to have them distributed with in three to four weeks.
Pro Nurses staffs schools, nursing facilities, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies in our area.
The receptionist also says a new staffing service will take over Monday.
