Police: Suspects steal cases of booze from restaurant

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Police are trying to find two people who made off with cases of booze from a Richmond restaurant earlier this month.

Officials said the theft happened on March 7 around 3:40 p.m. at a restaurant in the 5000 block of Forest Hill Avenue. That's when police said two suspects entered a storage area behind the business and stole 20 cases of beer.

Surveillance video released by police shows the pair loading the cases into a red Chevy pickup truck with an extended cab.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds. The suspect had a goatee and was wearing a striped shirt.

The second suspect is also described as a black male around 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He also had a goatee and wearing a grey shirt.
