FORT COLLINS, Colo. (WTVR) – High winds are making it difficult for firefighters to battle a wildfire in Northern Colorado.
The Associated Press says the Galena Fire has spread between 750 to 1,000 acres at a state park, just west of Fort Collins. The fire is threatening at least 50 homes.
According to 9news.com, hundreds of people have been ordered to evacuate.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office says fire crews are using engines and choppers to contain the flames.
