CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)--Traffic on Interstate 95 southbound, at mile marker 61 at Route 10, was moving slowly earlier, due to a police chase.
Around 7 p.m. VDOT cameras showed multiple police cars chase and halt a vehicle on I-95 southbound. The scene cleared shortly after 7:30 p.m., but prior to that several lanes were closed.
Chesterfield Police said, with the help of Virginia State Police, they nabbed a drunk driver after a high-speed chase with speeds into the upper 80s.
The chase began near Belmont Road off Chippenham Parkway and went south to mile marker 61.
