The annual St. Patty’s Palooza is Saturday, March 16, noon -5pm at the Innsbrook Pavilion, proceeds will benefit St Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization that funds research for children with cancer. There will be live music, St. Andrews Legend Bagpipers, a petting Zoo with pony rides, arts and crafts, food vendors and volunteers shaving their heads. The event is free and open to the public, vendors will have foods, arts/crafts, for purchase as well as beverages.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) signature program of FRIST, an international non-profit that organizes robotics competition for kids K-12, encouraging them to get fired up about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Local team the “VikingBots” from Thomas Jefferson High School is competing for the 5th year, this 2013 team is made up of 60 percent female and 40 percent male with their theme “Back it up and dump it”.
