WASHINGTON, D.C. — Thirteen people were hurt, including one seriously, after a drive-by shooting outside a D.C. apartment early Monday morning.

According to WTTG, the shooting happened shortly before 3 a.m., when gunmen in two separate cars opened fire on a crowd standing outside an apartment building.

Detectives are now reviewing surveillance video to hopefully identify suspects in the case. The video was released to the public to help officers locate an older-model BMW and a light or grey sedan.

The victim that suffered serious injuries was shot in the back. No other injuries were believed to be serious.

A motive has not been determined.
