NEW YORK (CNN) – What’s being called the “World’s Cutest Frog,” has become an internet sensation.
Wildlife enthusiast, Dean Boshoff, captured the frog as he was walking along a South African sand dune and heard a peculiar noise.
“When I heard that little squeak, I found him, knelt down, couldn’t believe the little sounds he was making,” Boshoff says.
In its first week on YouTube, the desert rain frog had about 3 million views.
People commenting on the YouTube video are saying that the frog sounds like it swallowed a squeaky toy.
When Boshoff posted the video he asked that people share their pet’s reactions. The frog has dogs everywhere trying to figure out where that weird squeak is coming from.
On dog even pawed, bit and snatched a smart phone playing the frog video.
This internet sensation has now been transformed by a jokester into a coughing opera frog and others have turned this squeak into a beat.
