RICHMOND, VA (WTVR): When you think of Richmond you may think of the Big Clock overlooking the Downtown Expressway/I-95, Maggie Walker or the Governor’s Mansion, and now you can see “A History of Richmond in 50 Objects” at the Valentine Richmond History Center.

The new exhibit “A History of Richmond in 50 Objects” explores objects from the History Center’s 1.7 million collection of objects and includes the John Smith Map of Virginia, the William Byrd Lottery Ticket, the Aunt Betsy Portrait, a Tredegar Iron Works Bench and many others and your suggestion could be the 51st object.

Send in your suggestion of what you would like to see as the 51st object in the RVA 50 by Facebook, www.facebook.com/valentineRHC, Twitter, www.twitter.com/valentineRHC (#RVA50) or on-line at http://bit.ly/Object51 or by filling out a paper form at the History Center, 1015 East Clay Street or call 804-649-0711. Free admission for Valentine’s Day weekend February 15-17. The exhibit will be on display through October 20, 2013.
