RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Some Richmond teachers are taking an unusual approach to try to boost students’ grades.
The educators have replaced the chairs with stability balls.
CBS 6 News has learned several Richmond elementary school teachers are trying out the program.
According to research, when a child sits on a ball chair that requires balance them to channel their physical energy in a positive way, it is supposed to help them better focus and, in turn, improve academic performance.
