RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–A fight broke out on a Richmond school bus and now city police are assisting Richmond Public Schools in the investigation.
James Mercante, spokesperson with the Richmond Police Department, said that a call came in at 4:13 p.m. Thursday, reporting that students on a school bus were fighting.
Officers responded to the bus, which stopped on Maury Street, just off Interstate 95.
Richmond Police said that three juvenile girls were taken off the bus and police transported them back to the school.
