CULPEPER, Va. (WTVR) -- A former Culpeper police officer who shot and killed a woman in front of a school could have his manslaughter conviction thrown out.

The judge is trying to figure out if allegations that jurors used a dictionary during deliberations in the trial of Daniel Harmon-Wright. If the allegations of juror misconduct are true, it could lead to a mistrial.

Harmon-Wright was found guilty of manslaughter earlier this week for killing Patricia Cook in the parking lot of a school in February of 2012.

If the conviction stands, Harmon-Wright faces up to 25 years in prison.
