BALTIMORE, Md.  (CNN)- Jim Pellegrini and Daisy Sudano met 12 years ago at a Ravens-Giants Super Bowl game, but something kept them from tying the knot.

Both are Ravens fans and promised to get married if the Ravens ever made it back to the big game.

“We said, ‘Now, it’s going to happen, the next time the Ravens go, that’s when we’re going to finally get married.’"

They made plans to elope in New Orleans on Super Bowl weekend and watch the game on TV. The people at Al Packers White Marsh Ford and Ravens player, Gino Gradkowski, came up with a surprise after hearing their story.

The plan; a meet and greet with Gradkowski and some Visa gift cards.

Then came the surprise of a lifetime, tickets to the Super Bowl.

“It was nice to hear the story, and when they weren’t going to the game, that’s when we decided we had to change their fortunes,” Jerry Clark of Al Packers White Marsh Ford said.

“It’s just exciting to see how excited the fans get for us and how much they for out of their way to support us. It’s always good to so something back for them,” Gradkowsk said.

Jim and Daisy have decided to drive to New Orleans for the game and camp out in tents. They’ve even scoped out wedding locations on the internet. “We’ve been waiting a long time and this is really special the way it’s happening,” Pellegrini said.

Sudano said part of her wedding planning includes shopping for a purple wedding dress on the internet.
