SAN DIEGO (WTVR) – The man who played the voice of Charlie Brown in the animated show “Peanuts,” has been arrested and faces five felony charges.
According to the Union-Tribune newspaperand the San Diego County jail website, Peter Robins, 56, is charged with four felony counts of making a threat to cause death or great bodily injury and one felony count of stalking. His bail has been set at $550,000.
Robbins will be arraigned this morning at 8:00 a.m. PST.
According to the report. Robbins was the voice of Charlie Brown in “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” and specials, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” among others.
