RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)—The Richmond based shirt-making company Ledbury was just featured on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

They shared their story and talked about the unique challenges of starting, and growing a small business.

Ledbury owners Paul Trible and Paul Watson say that their business venture started with a simple problem: finding a great fitting shirt.

They were in London, attending graduate school in 2008, when the markets crashed.  The duo searched for a silver lining as job prospects disappeared.

They turned towards a passion for tailoring and all the stitches came together. The founders of Ledbury say that they “were always frustrated to return home to the States where the majority of menswear brands took a one-size-fits-all, profits over purpose approach.”

Flash forward and Ledbury is a growing business that operates out of Shockoe Slip.
