LOUISA, Va. (WTVR)–An earthquake shook Louisa on Wednesday evening.
The United States Geological Survey recorded a 2.0 magnitude earthquake at 6:35 p.m., one kilometer east of Louisa.
This is still considered an aftershock, since no seismological event has been larger than the 5.8 magnitude earthquake on August 23, 2011.
Louisa County Sheriff’s Office reported no injuries or calls for help from the event.
Several CBS 6 Facebook friends commented that they felt the event.
