PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Three Pulaski County schools were placed on lockdown Tuesday morning, according to WDBJ-TV.
According to the station, 1,300 students at Pulaski Middle School, Pulaski Elementary School and Critzer Elementary School were affected by the lockdown.
Superintendent Thomas Brewster said that a student overheard his parent say something — and that student reached out to school staff. However, the station reports that it is not clear what the nature of the conversation is not clear.
