PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Bomb dogs from Fort Lee were called to NB Clements Junior High School after a Monday morning bomb threat. The dogs and Prince George Police searched the school to ensure there were no explosives inside.

“The kids are safe. Everything is fine. They’re out off the cold,” Prince George County Police Lt. Paul Burroughs said. “We’re going through the school to make sure that in fact it is safe.”

Burroughs said the students were bused to a nearby school during the bomb search. The students were allowed back into their school around 11:30 a.m.

Police are investigating the threat and ask anyone with information to call Prince George County Police Department at (804) 733-2773 or Crime Solvers at (804) 733-2777.
