PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 1500 block of East Washington Street.
An officer said he heard shots. When they arrived on scene, they found somebody had been shot. The victim was identified as Jerome Talley. The suspect, Charles Mason, was still at the scene and was arrested.
Talley was taken to VCU Medical Center. He is currently in stable condition.
