A 25-year-old passenger died on an American Airlines flight from Brazil to North Texas, KRIV-TV has reported.
The plan was diverted to Houston’s George Bush International Airport just before daybreak.
Police detectives said there were no signs of trauma on the woman. An autopsy will be performed.
The victim’s name has not been released.
A spokesman for American said the Boeing 777 with 220 passengers resumed its flight after about a three hour delay.
