RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Richmond police said Friday that a 15-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with two shootings in the city on Christmas Eve.
Police said this all started when a 20-year-old man was shot in the 1300 block of Coalter Street just before 2 a.m. on Dec. 24.
Investigators said they uncovered evidence at that shooting scene that linked the suspect to another shooting. In that incident, a 33-year-old man was shot in the 2000 block of Fairfield Way around 12:45 p.m. also on Dec. 24.
Police said the 15-year-old male suspect was charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of robbery and three counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony.
