RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The fourth annual Have A Heart 4 The Homeless was held this afternoon from 12 to 6.

The event was held at the Paradise Lounge at 112 North Fifth Street.

Joe’i Chancellor and her volunteers put together a dinner on Christmas Eve for the homeless.  The event also included a concert with local musicians.

Chancellor said a church donated almost 200 coats.  Several others in the community have donated hats, gloves, scarves and cotes.

Last year, they drew in 447 homeless people.  They expected well over 500 people at this year’s event.

Chancellor was named one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 under 40.
