Ferrum College lockdown lifted

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A Friday morning lockdown has been lifted on a Virginia college campus.

According to WDBJ7, Ferrum College was on lockdown around 9:30 Thursday night after men with guns robbed two people.  The lockdown was extended into Friday morning.

Students and staff were notified by campus police through email, text and social media.

We are told that exams will go on as scheduled.
