DEER PARK, Wash. – A farmer used his plow to turn a 200-acre field into a giant marriage proposal – but he accidentally spelled his significant other’s name wrong.

Loren Lentz said he wanted to do something big. So he spent an hour and a half using his tractor’s 27-foot disc to create the proposal last month.

He said while he was making the proposal he accidentally wrote a “J” backwards, reading “Lody” instead of “Jody.”

He said he decided to go along with the plan anyway. He took his then-girlfriend up in an airplane with a pilot, saying they were going to look for a stolen service vehicle.

Lentz had a ring in hand as she spotted the message. The two plan on getting married next month.
