20th annual James River Parade of Lights set for Saturday

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- A Grand Illumination of a different kind will happen on the James River Saturday, Dec. 8.

About twenty decorated boats will cruise the river celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the James River Parade of Lights, sponsored by the James River Advisory Council.  

Here's where you can see the parade, in Richmond at Libby Hill Park, corner of 28th & East Franklin Streets, entertainment starts at 4:30, parade at 6pm; Intermediate Terminal Dock, Dock & Water Streets, viewing 6pm; Henrico - Osborne Park & Boat Landing, 9530 Osborne Turnpike, entertainment 4pm, parade 7-7:30pm; Chesterfield - Dutch Gap Boat Landing, 441 Coxendale Road, parade 7:30-7:45pm, Henricus Historical Park, 251 Henricus Park Road, entertainment 6pm, parade 7:45-8pm; details www.jrac-va.org or 804-717-6681.
