HENRICO, Va. (WTVR)—Henrico Police confirmed that a vehicular accident knocked out power lines near Parham Road and Fordson Road after car slammed into a pole.
Jim Norvelle with Virginia Dominion Power said the utility company working on the scene right now and hopes that power will be restored around 2 a.m. Monday morning.
Norvelle said that a utility pole and power lines are being replaced.
At one point there were more than 4,000 power outages. That number quickly dropped to 2,453 outages. Then, by 8:16 p.m. the outages remained at 139.
