RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The VCU women’s head volleyball coach says he lost his job because he is openly gay.

James Finley tells CBS 6 News’ Tracy Sears this season was the best in the school’s history. However, he said he was let go after eight years at the VCU.

Sears investigates why he no longer has a contract with the university on CBS 6 News starting at 6 p.m.
