Multi-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - State Police responded to a three vehicle crash on I-95 at exit 65 near Willis Road.

The crash occurred right before 5 a.m when a BMW hit a Ford Ranger.  The impact caused the driver of the Ford Ranger to hit a tractor-trailer. 

Three people in the BMW suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.  The driver of the Ford Ranger also suffered minor injuries, but was treated on scene.  The driver of the tractor-trailer did not suffer any injuries.

Southbound lanes were closed for an hour and have been reopened.  Traffic was rerouted to Willis Road.

State Police are still investigating the crash.
