ATLEE, Va. (WTVR) - In a must-win game for each team. Lee-Davis outlasted Atlee 61-48, and grabbed the top seed in the Division 5 playoffs in the process.
The Confederates had 585 yards rushing, led by Chris Simpson who carried 35 times for 311 yards and 4 touchdowns. DeShaun Rogers added another 263 yards on the ground and 4 scores.
Raiders RB Morris Jackson had 152 yards rushing and went over 2-thousand for the season. He finishes as the region's top running back with 2031 yards. He also had 3 touchdowns in the loss bringing his season total to 33. QB Kenner Berry threw for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Lee-Davis (7-3) will now host Hanover whom they beat 10-6 back in week 8.Atlee's season ends at 5-5.
