ASHLAND, Va. (WTVR) – One woman was killed in an afternoon accident outside the Ashland Towne Square Apartments. Ashland Police Department Lt. James Shelhorse said the victim was a passenger in the vehicle.
He said around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle overturned and hit a tree. Two other people in the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash still under investigation, Shelhorse said. The victim’s name has yet been released.
