RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – If you are looking for something to do with all that Halloween candy your children collected, here’s one option: Give it to the dentist.

Kool Smiles Dentistry in Richmond, Mechanicsville and Colonial Heights is taking bank candy for its Operation Gratitude.

The candy will be sent overseas to U.S. service members. In turn, your child will get to pick out a toy from Kool Smiles as an exchange for their contribution.

Kool Smiles is accepting candy Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m.
