Charlottesville, VA – It could take several days after the election before we know the complete results of the Presidential race here in Virginia.

The state’s new Voter I.D. law did away with a provision that allowed voters without identification to sign a piece of paper, admitting they are a legal voter.

Instead, they will have to fill out a provisional ballot and come back within three days with proper I.D.

Local registrars say the change may mean election results won’t be confirmed until the Friday after election day.
