JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - A woman who mummified her boyfriend for two years after he died learned her fate on Halloween.
Seventy-two-year-old Linda Chase will now go to mental health court and will not serve jail time after pleading guilty to larceny by conversion.
Police and prosecutors said Chase collected and kept at least $28,000 in social security and pension checks meant for Charles Zigler.
