That included a premature baby who was just two pounds and 13 days old.
Monday night, new born baby Martinez suddenly needed to be transported from New York University hospital to another location when the back-up system failed.
After the generators failed, doctors and nurses had to hustle hundreds of patients across the street.
As far as the parents of the little girl, they lost power back at home. Bridges were closed also and they could do nothing but wait to hear about their little girl.
