RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will hold a “Victory Rally” Thursday afternoon in Doswell.
The rally, at Meadow Event Park, comes after the Romney campaign postponed a similar event last Sunday at the University of Richmond. Sunday’s rally was canceled as Hurricane Sandy approached Virginia.
In a post on Gov. Romney’s website, attendees are encouraged to donate to the Red Cross Relief Effort.
Tickets for Thursday’s event are available online. Doors open at 11:45 a.m., the rally is scheduled to start at 1:45 p.m.
Romney has another rally scheduled earlier in the day in Roanoke and one Thursday evening in Virginia Beach.
