VSU cancels classes and school activities due to Sandy

PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State University has canceled classes from 6 p.m. Saturday to Tuesday evening.  Classes and activities will resume at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

VSU President Keith Miller recommends students who plan to stay on campus to contact their R.A. and tell them about their plans to remain on campus.  All students are advised to stay in contact with friends or family members.

Administrative offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.  Class registration procedures will resume on Monday, November 5.

Online classes will continue through Blackboard.

Essential personnel are required to work on Monday at 8 a.m.
