RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Governor Romney’s stop at the University of Richmond that was planned for Sunday has been canceled due to Hurricane Sandy.
We are told after consulting with Governor Bob McDonnell regarding storm preparations for Hurricane Sandy, the campaign decided to postpone all of Sunday’s Virginia events as a cautionary move to ensure that emergency resources personnel would not be diverted.
