HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico Police arrested two high school students after officers were called to Highland Springs High School to investigate “disorderly football players.”

“The football players were fighting with several other players and administrators,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Eric Owens wrote in an email to CBS 6. “During the altercation, several racial epithets were directed at the coaches by the players.” The incident occurred on Oct. 16, Lt. Owens confirmed.

One of the arrested students is a minor, Lt. Owens said.

The other student was identified by police as Marcus Logan-Baker, 18, of Ammons Ave. The teenager is charged with Assault and Battery, Threats to School Employee and Assault/Hate Crime.

Logan-Baker was an all-metro football player for Highland Springs High School.
