RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Warm temperatures combined with a long wait have resulted in several people fainting while waiting for President Obama's campaign rally start in Richmond's Byrd Park.
An exact number of fainters has not been disclosed, but CBS 6 reporter Joe St. George classified it as "multiple, at least six."
The president is expected to arrive at Byrd Park around 1:00 p.m.
St. George interviewed some people at the event who said they arrived at 6:00 a.m. to ensure a good seat. Reporter Jerrita Patterson spoke to supporters who arrived at 2:00 a.m.
