RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) – Richmond City Councilman Charles Samuels is holding a meeting tonight to address growing concerns over a traffic hazard in the Fan.

On Samuels’ website, he says he called the meeting after a father and daughter were hit in the traffic circle around the Lee Monument while walking home from The Orchard School last week.

Councilman Samuels, along with Tom Flynn, the traffic engineer from the City of Richmond, will meet with neighbors tonight to discuss concerns about safety in the traffic circle and identify both short and long-term solutions.
