Dale Earnhardt Jr. set to race in Martinsville after concussion woes

CHARLOTTE, NC (WTVR) – Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be back at the track this weekend.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Jerry Petty said Earnhardt is good to go for this Sunday’s race at at the Martinsville Speedway.

The Associated Press reports Earnhardt got behind the wheel Monday for a test drive at a speedway in Georgia.

Earnhardt had missed two races after he was diagnosed with a concussion earlier this month. Doctors said Earnhardt sustained the concussion during the race Oct. 7 in Talladega.
